NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA SANITARY DISTRICT PROJECT 8452

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Board of Directors of the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (Central San), Martinez, California, invites and will receive sealed bids for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and services specified for the construction of District Project 8452, Lafayette Sewer Renovations, Phase 13, in conformance with the Contract.  The work primarily consists of renovation of approximately 11,000 feet of existing 6-inch and 8-inch sewer pipe lines. Construction methods include open-cut (3,100 feet), pipe-bursting (3,100 feet), slip lining (700 feet), and cured-in-place pipe (4,000 feet).  The estimated cost of construction is $3,500,000.  Central San, at its discretion, may add additional sites to the project after Award of the Construction Contract.

A prebid meeting to discuss the Project will be held at 10 a.m., local time, February 19, 2019, in the District’s Board Meeting Room, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.

The District will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per Time.gov,

March 6, 2019, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.  NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
