Mainline Reimbursement Accounts
Mainline Reimbursement Accounts allow a property owner who pays the cost of extending a public sewer main to their parcel to be reimbursed by other property owners who connect directly to that sewer main within 20 years.
Who can participate?
Any installer of a new sewer main or sewer main extension where additional parcels might reasonably connect directly to the project
What can be financed?
Design and construction costs of the mainline sewer
Terms
- Additional parcels connecting directly to the project sewer within 20 years would pay their share of the project costs through a reimbursement fee, which is collected by Central San who disburses the funds to the original installer
