NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Central San Board of Directors, Martinez, California, invites and will receive sealed bids for the Aeration Basins Diffuser Replacement, Phase 1, District Project 100019, in conformance with the Contract Documents. The work generally consists of major renovation of Aeration Basin (A/N Tank) 1A, 1B, 1C, & 1D,  and includes demolition, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and controls upgrades for diffuser replacement in the Basins. Seismic retrofitting of the Basin is included as an alternative (optional) bid item. The estimated cost of construction is $18,200,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional construction activities after Award of the Construction Contract.

A prebid meeting to discuss the Project will be held at 10 a.m., local time, May 11, 2023, in the District’s Board Room, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California.

Central San will receive bids at its receptionist area until 2 p.m., local time per Time.gov, June 6, 2023, at 5019 Imhoff Place, Martinez, California, at which time and place, in the District’s Board Room, accepted bids will be publicly opened and declared aloud by the Secretary of the District, and before the General Manager, or his representatives.  NO LATE BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
